Safari Advice: Kidepo Valley National Park is around 700 kilometers northeast of Kampala. The two-hour flight from Kajjansi airstrip, Kampala, or Entebbe International Airport is the quickest method to get there. It usually takes 10 hours to travel safely by vehicle. Fascinating Escape to Aruu Falls

The Aruu Falls waterfalls are located in the Pader area along the Gulu Kitgum route in northern Uganda. The distance to the falls, which are around 386 kilometers from Kampala, the capital of Uganda, 47 kilometers from Gulu, and 57 kilometers from Kigtum, takes 4 to 6 hours to travel by car from Kampala.

Paraa, The Home to Many

In Northern Uganda’s Acholi subregion, Nwoya District is home to Paraa. It is situated within the roughly 5,000 square kilometer Murchison Falls National Park, which is the largest wildlife reserve in Uganda (1,900 sq mi). On the bank of the Albert Nile, this place is situated roughly 25 kilometers (16 mi) southeast of Pakwach and 86 kilometers (53 mi) northwest of Masindi. Wipolo Catholic Shrine in Paimol, Agago District in Northern Uganda

By the October 18th feast day celebration in the fall of 2015, the wiPolo shrine for the Paimol Martyrs, which serves as the location for the yearly commemoration of the martyrs’ feast day, had been built and finished. The annual pilgrimage to honor the catechists’ deaths as witnesses to Christ has been to Paimol, which is known to the Acholi as the location of the martyrdoms of Daudi Okelo and Jildo Irwa.
